PRINCE ALBERT — Thanks to the generosity of supporters across the Diocese of Saskatchewan and beyond, this year’s Say Yes! to Kids campaign raised $5,600, including Anglican Foundation of Canada matching funds and campaign bonuses — achieving 80 per cent of the diocese’s $7,000 fundraising goal.
The funds will support the diocese’s travelling Vacation Bible School ministry, which brings faith-filled programming directly to children and youth in communities across northern Saskatchewan. Through prayer, Scripture, music, worship and joyful learning, the program helps young people grow in faith, confidence, and belonging while strengthening local congregations throughout the North.
Now in its third year participating in Say Yes! to Kids, the Diocese of Saskatchewan has continued to build momentum for this important ministry. Combined with the success of its previous two campaigns, the diocese has raised approximately $16,600 through Say Yes! to Kids, helping ensure that children and youths across northern Saskatchewan continue to experience the love of Christ through this unique outreach ministry.
